VR Experience (6DOF)

The VR experience "Noise” presents a snapshot of a synthetically dense, patchwork urban space composed of 3D scans. Frozen in imperfect forms, the silhouettes and locations can be examined in detail through the use of a unique mechanics of movement within the experience. The positioning of the submerged person's hands affects the sound, speed of movement, and lighting.
The experience explores the theme of high sensory stimuli in urban spaces, which can lead to heightened feelings of fear. In "Noise", one can take refuge from the overwhelming ruckus by following illuminated points in the space.
