Interactive installation
2021

Memory and forgetting, the durability of information and memories have become the foundation for creating an interactive installation based on a variety of digital and physical systems. Calm, circular forms physically drawn and digitally projected evoke the themes of the passage of time, repetition, and meditation.

The boundary between human and digital memory is gradually blurring almost imperceptibly, as we extend our senses by utilizing the latest technologies. The approaching vision of popularizing and developing brain-computer interfaces also questions previous ways of experiencing a moment only once, appearing as a potential escape from forgetting and death.

However, should information last forever? Does the mere possibility of reproducing and repeating an experience multiple times affect the nature of experience and memory itself?

These questions become the focus of considerations, the traces of which can be found in this work utilizing generative art tools - by creating a unique image after each interaction, as well as an eroding digital sculpture that degenerates over time, leaving behind a completely information-free image.
